This type of artichoke is characterised by a rounder shape, a central hole and the absence of pappus inside, which make it a very tender, top quality food, turning it into one of the most popular and well-known green vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tudela artichoke<\/strong> holds the <strong>Protected Geographical Indication Certificate<\/strong> (PGI), one of the most demanding and internationally recognised denomination acknowledgements of quality products, including its production in the <strong>Ribera de Navarra<\/strong> region.<\/p>\n<p>The artichoke season takes place between <strong>Octoer and June<\/strong>, varying in terms of the weather conditions, but now is the best moment to enjoy them.
